AlgaGenBio (formerly AlgaGen Biosolutions LLP, LLPIN: ABC-5009) is a pioneering Indian biotechnology enterprise focused on advancing microalgal and microbial innovations for sustainable applications in food, feed, and environmental health.
Established in September 2022, the company is currently incubated at Amrita TBI, Amritapuri—one of India’s leading deep-tech innovation hubs—with additional early-stage support from RUSA–RISE TBI of CUSAT and the ZTM-ABI Centre, ICAR-CIFT, Kochi.
Our PRANAA – Tree of Life is funded by NIDHI -PRAYAs GRANT, AMRITA-TBI, Amrita University, Kollam.
Rooted in rigorous microalgal research and applied biotechnology, AlgaGenBio integrates scientific discovery with sustainability-driven innovation, delivering solutions that enhance nutrition, improve air and water quality, and strengthen the circular bio-economy.

Suresh Shenoy
Co-Founder & Chief Marketing Officer
Mr. Suresh Shenoy is a seasoned business development professional with over 25 years of experience across FMCG, Telecom, Insurance, Microfinance, NGO engagement, and sustainability-led initiatives. He has worked with leading organizations including Heinz, Nestlé, Reliance Telecom, TATA AIA, EID PARRY, Greenway Grameen, and ESAF.
At AlgaGen Bio, he is part of an innovative initiative focused on developing Vegan Protein solutions from Microalgae, contributing to sustainable nutrition and positive societal impact through bio-based innovation.
