About Us
AlgaGen Biosolutions LLP (LLPIN: ABC-5009) is an innovative Indian biotech company dedicated to the research and development of microalgae and other potential organisms for the enhancement of food, feed, and overall well-being of humans, animals, and the environment. Established in September 2022, our company is currently incubated at Amrita TBI, Amritapuri, Kollam. We were initially supported by RUSA-Innovation and Startup Ecosystem (RISE) - TBI of CUSAT and ZTM-ABI Centre, ICAR-CIFT, Kochi.
Vision
Our vision at AlgaGen Biosolutions LLP is to be at the forefront of biotechnology and algae-based research, becoming a leading provider of sustainable and innovative solutions that contribute to the well-being of humanity, animal welfare, and ecological sustainability.
Mission
AlgaGen Biosolutions LLP is dedicated to a twofold mission. Firstly, we focus on researching and developing algae, plant, and other organism biomass rich in essential nutrients to support human and animal nutrition. Our aim is to provide functional foods, vegan options, and nutraceuticals catering to diverse groups, including pregnant women, children, the elderly, and sports persons.
Secondly, we are committed to reducing water and air pollution through phytoremediation projects. By leveraging the potential of microalgae in biotechnology and promoting sustainable cultivation methods, we strive to make a positive impact on the environment.
