School students who are interested in science exploration beyond school academics are invited to undertake our program. Our workshops, lab tours and short term projects will enhance the learning, critical thinking, communication skills and will help to ignite curiosity and to cultivate love for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)  education.

🌊  "AquaFlora: Microalgae Exploration," is an immersive program designed to introduce 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th grade students to the fascinating world of microalgae. In this hands-on workshop, young minds will embark on a scientific journey like no other, where they'll have the chance to get up close and personal with these microbial wonders. 🌱🔍

What to Expect:

🔬 Real Lab Experience: This program offers a genuine laboratory experience, where students will work with state-of-the-art equipment and techniques used by scientists.

🌱 Closely Observe Microalgae Growth: Participants will witness the growth and development of microalgae cultures under controlled conditions, gaining insights into their life cycles and behavior.

👃 Engage Their Senses: Students will engage their senses like never before - from observing microalgae under microscopes to smelling, tasting, and even feeling their textures.

🧪 Explore Advanced Instruments and Techniques: We'll delve into the world of scientific instruments such as microscopes, haemocytometer, spectrophotometer, and thin layer chromatography, etc.

🦠 Master Microbiology Techniques: Participants will learn microbiological techniques, including solid and liquid media preparation, autoclaving, isolation, and agar plating, all with a deep understanding of the principles behind these methods.
